Willy Logan is a historian of technology specializing in post-independence India. His book, A Technological History of Cold-War India, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2022. As part of his research on Indian development, Willy spent several years in India and learned to speak Hindi. He holds degrees in History of Technology (PhD, Auburn University) and Mechanical Engineering (BSE, Walla Walla University). He joined the Union history faculty in 2023, after teaching at Pacific Union College in California for five years. When not teaching his classes, Willy enjoys cooking new recipes, riding his bike on Lincoln?s trails, and going on walks with his wife and daughter.
